Request

Hosting Terminale students from Arles, France: There are two boys and one girl and all three are 17-year old seniors. They have a good level of English and they're interested in the sciences, among other things. They're all good students, and I can't imagine them being a burden on any family. We'd ask the families to pick up the students in Urbana-Champaign (time and place to be determined) on Monday, October 21st early evening. Students would need to be able to have breakfasts and dinners with the families (they would pay for their own lunches during the day). The family would need to bring the student to Urbana High School (with their own son/daughter in the morning if applicable) from Tuesday to Friday and pick them up in the evening. The family would then need to bring the French student to the Urbana train station on Saturday, October 26th in the morning (10 a.m. train). More details will be provided as soon as I know how this can work!

To help with costs, we would pay the families $15/night or$75 total for the 5 nights. If interested, please contact either Liz Mocek Martinez (emartinez@lths.net) or Katie Thornton (thornton.katie@gmail.com). Merci!
